ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A third suspect is facing charges in connection with an attempted robbery and shooting that left a woman dead in University City in September.

Darron Cook is charged with second-degree murder-during perpetration of a felony, first-degree attempted robbery and armed criminal action. Two other suspects, Carlione Boyd and Terrell McCann, Jr., were previously charged.

According to police, Boyd and McCann approached a person working on their car in a parking lot in the 6400 block of North Drive. Boyd was wearing all black, and McCann, Jr., was wearing a full black face mask and a bright-colored hoodie. Boyd reportedly put a gun to the victim’s head. The robbery victim was able to grab the gun from Boyd and fired shots at both suspects while running from the area…
