ST. LOUIS (First Alert 4) — Some letter carriers were back on the street Wednesday delivering mail after service was suspended due to snowy streets and treacherous travel conditions.
Postal Service spokesperson Tara Jarrett said the safety of employees is the top priority. She went on to say, “The Postal Service curtails delivery only after careful consideration, and only as a last resort.”
