St. Louis, MO – Residents of Missouri are urged to prepare for worsening travel conditions as a winter storm intensifies Sunday evening. Snowfall is expected to transition from a wintry mix, bringing up to 4 inches of accumulation by Monday morning, with wind gusts exceeding 30 mph.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in St. Louis, the heaviest snowfall will likely occur overnight, particularly north of Interstate 70. Visibility will be severely reduced in many areas due to blowing snow, creating near-blizzard conditions. Officials have issued a strong advisory against non-essential travel through early Monday.
