As Oklahoma homeowners impacted by tornadoes in early November work to clean up the damage, the state is working to get some relief from the federal government.
The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management was out surveying and assessing the damage caused by tornadoes on Nov. 3, which tore through parts of the Oklahoma City metro.
“We’re hopeful. We can never guarantee it,” Annie Vest, state director of the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management, said. “It’s taken us a little time to collect all the damages, but we found that we’re at enough of a number that we may be able to receive a federal declaration.”…
