Barilla, the world’s leading pasta maker, is teaming up with Meals on Wheels America to combat senior hunger and isolation this holiday season. Through its Connection Kitchen food truck, Barilla aims to spread joy while raising awareness for Meals on Wheels programs, which face volunteer shortages and funding gaps that leave one in three programs with waitlists.
Launching in Chicago, the Connection Kitchen will serve free pasta dishes curated by Barilla’s Chef Lorenzo Boni. The truck will stop at the Merchandise Mart on December 6 and Oakbrook Center on December 7, offering classics like Rigatoni Amatriciana and Snowfall Cacio e Pepe.…
