BOB-O’s, known for its hotdogs, Italian beef and fresh cut fries, has opened a second location on Chicago’s Northwest Side.
Its flagship original location remains at 8258 W. Irving Park Road, but earlier this month BOB-O’s opened at 6161 N. Milwaukee Ave. in the Gladstone Park commercial corridor. The site was once home to the Original Roma Beef, which closed more than 7 years ago.
“It started with a push cart. Our history goes back to the 1950s,” said BOB-O’s owner Richard Bartell. “We’ve lasted this long due to good family practices (and) our friends.”…
