PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say a Cedar Springs man was arrested after a police chase ended in a crash in Plainfield Township.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office said started around 4 a.m. Friday when a deputy tried to pull over a black Chrysler 300 for driving without its headlights on near the intersection of Plainfield and Vista Springs avenues.
The vehicle did not stop and a short chase ensued, but the sheriff’s office said deputies stopped the chase due to weather conditions. A short time later, the Chrysler crashed into a Ford Fusion near 5 Mile Road. The Chrysler tried to drive away but crashed into a stop sign.
