ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -St. Charles Police Department investigators are searching for the remains of an Illinois woman reported missing by her family earlier this month.
According to the Quincy Police Department, Britney D. Hoffman-Kelly was last seen on Dec. 14 while in St. Charles with her husband, Chadwick Kelly. Family members told police they believed she was possibly in danger after being unable to contact her in the days that followed.
Quincy Police Department investigators contacted the St. Charles Police Department after family members told them the pair were staying at a hotel. When St. Charles investigators reviewed surveillance footage, they observed Britney and her husband checking into the hotel on Dec. 12.
After that, she disappears from video footage and is not seen with Chadwick Kelly again. Police said the video captured him checking out of the hotel on December 18th without Britney…
