Yorkville man arrested by Yorkville Police for attempted burglary of local business early Monday morning

A Yorkville man was arrested early Monday morning after he allegedly broke into a business and attempted to steal merchandise from the store. Yorkville police say they received a notice of an active alarm at a business in the 600 block of Center Parkway at approximately 12:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers noticed an unsecured door and what appeared to be a window air conditioner partially pulled from a window. Officers entered the building and discovered 27-year-old Connor P. Naughton attempting to take prescription medication. Officers took him into custody without incident.

Naughton was charged with burglary and was taken to the Kendall County Jail. The Yorkville Police Department was assisted in the arrest by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department and the Plano Police Department…
