OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a serious traffic crash involving an SUV and bicycle in Oshtemo Township.
An investigation revealed the crash happened on Parkview Avenue just west on Crystal Lane.

The bicyclist, a 24-year-old male, suffered severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he is in critical condition, officials said. The driver, a 65-year-old female, did not suffer injuries.
Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash, according to officials.
