New York man admits to multimillion-dollar wire fraud conspiracy

Cumberland, MD -*On Tuesday, officers from the Cumberland Police Department apprehended a suspect linked to a stolen vehicle from Baltimore. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Will’s Creek Ave, where police located the vehicle and observed a male subject fleeing a nearby home.

The suspect, identified as Daries Raheem Legette, 31, from Baltimore, was recognized by officers who knew of his active arrest warrant. Following a brief foot chase, Legette was detained without further incident.

Legette’s arrest warrant resulted from an investigation into a vehicle theft reported on September 30th in the 300 block of Grand Ave. The investigation revealed that Legette allegedly stole around $4,000 worth of tools from the vehicle and attempted to sell them at a nearby pawn shop…
