Free mammogram screening on Staten Island this Sunday

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton is announcing her fifth free mammogram event on Staten Island.

As part of her initiative, which has sponsored 10 events — five in Brooklyn and five on Staten Island — she has partnered with the American Italian Cancer Foundation and New York State Cancer Services Program to provide free screenings to women.

“I am honored to have sponsored a total of 10 mammogram events on both sides of the bridge,” Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton said. “This initiative is vital for women’s health, as early detection of breast cancer can make all the difference. By making these screenings accessible, we are empowering women to prioritize their health and well-being.”…
