FAIRFIELD, NJ – Fairfield police arrested two juveniles on Sunday who were occupants of a vehicle stolen out of Pennsylvania.
At 9:31 a.m. Sunday, officers were alerted by police dispatch that a stolen vehicle had entered Fairfield. The alert came to police dispatch through an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR), located in town.
The vehicle was described as a 2016 gray Hyundai Elantra with a Pennsylvania registration. It was reported stolen on November 1 out of Easton, Pa. Officers began searching the area and Corporal David Lagan located the vehicle a short time later traveling west on Route 46.
