Texas Women’s Basketball took on the Lamar Cardinals at the Moody Center tonight. The Longhorns would be without Sophomore forward Madison Booker, who has a day-to-day hamstring injury. Texas Longhorns Women’s Basketball Coach Vic Schaefer said the injury is not severe.
Not having Booker in the lineup didn’t phase the Longhorns as they beat the Cardinals 95-58. That isn’t the only good thing that happened to the Women’s Basketball program today.
The Longhorns announced that Aaliyah Crump committed to the Longhorns earlier today. That is another massive signing for Schaefer and the 2025 recruiting class that he’s putting together. The 6’1 combo guard will bring some size to the guards next season. The Longhorns will lose Senior guard Rori Harmon after this season.
