People, including politicians, are imperfect and shouldn’t be judged by their worst moments. But goodness gracious, Carmen Rubio’s latest misadventure in driving should give voters pause. The article’s video shows her barely stopping to check on what is obvious damage that she caused. At best, her actions show an alarming lack of focus. At worst, she is being dishonest, tried to avoid taking responsibility and should be cited for “hit and run.” In either case she doesn’t demonstrate the skills and temperament needed for our next mayor.
