Girls volleyball: Burlington-Edison at Lynden
7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 at Lynden High School
Burlington-Edison (6-1) and Lynden (5-1) are both ranked top-15 in the first WIAA Class 2A RPI rankings. Last season, both teams went to the state tournament and the Lions ended up sweeping the Tigers for third place. Lynden’s Finley Parcher and Rian Stephan are scoring nearly four kills per set while Burlington-Edison’s outside hitter Lexie Mason is a returning first-team all-Northwest Conference selection.
WWU men’s soccer vs. Northwest Nazarene
7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at Harrington Field
The Vikings men’s soccer team is 2-2-2 and looking to find some rhythm as they hit the middle of the season. The Vikings tend to play better at Harrington Field, boasting a 2-1-1 record and averaging one goal per game. The game is also WFC Rangers and Whatcom Youth Soccer Night, so admission is free for any player wearing their youth jersey.
Open Roller Skate
6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at Depot Market Square
For those interested in roller skating in Bellingham, this is a free drop-in program where you can throw on your skates and roll around. No registration is needed but you must bring your own skates, helmets and pads.
