BELTON — A local woman was on the witness stand for several hours on Tuesday in a Belton courtroom as she testified against the Lyft driver whom she says sexually assaulted her almost four years ago in a convenience store parking lot.
“I shouldn’t be here because this should never have happened,” said the 21-year-old when asked by the state’s prosecutor how she felt about being in court.
