Results of a recent survey shows there mixed, but mostly positive reviews for the “road diet” bike lane project on Greenwood Avenue in Bend. The pilot program has reduced car traffic to one lane in each direction between Third Street and downtown while adding buffered bike lanes.
The survey was small — just 116 responses by the public between Sept. 24 and Oct. 14.

- Good – 17%
- OK – 6%
- Don’t love it – 14%
- Hate it – 16%
Half the respondents said driving takes the same amount of time while the rest either said it takes more time or less time.
