SEC availability report: Auburn vs. Arkansas

For the first time in its history, Auburn has handed over an official injury report to the SEC.

After a new conference mandate last month, SEC teams must now publish “availability reports” before league matchups. The designations on players — which must have a certain degree of accuracy, or else programs can be fined — are available, probable, questionable, doubtful or out. Of course, an “availability report” informs the potential for players to miss time due to factors other than injuries. Teams do not have to disclose injuries or statuses, simply the likelihood that player can participate in Saturday’s game.

The official SEC availability reports will be updated Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, with the deadline for teams to submit set for 7 p.m. CST. Final updates must be submitted to the conference 90 minutes before kickoff…
