Silver Spring man charged with murder in Greenbelt Road shooting incident

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A man was charged with murder for his alleged connection to a shooting that left a person dead and another injured in Greenbelt, Maryland earlier in December, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

On Dec. 15, officials said officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road. When they arrived, officers said they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

The two men were taken to a local hospital, where one of them, later identified as 18-year-old Rasheed Davis, lost his life. The other man was in critical condition and remains hospitalized, officials said…
