More than 2,000 Northampton County residents are in the dark Sunday after a reported equipment failure knocked out power.
At 1:20 p.m. Sunday, WFMZ-69 News reported the incident was affecting 10,236 Northampton County residents and another 2,993 folks residing in neighboring Monroe County. As of 3:15 p.m., there were 2,015 Northampton County residents remaining without power and just one household in Monroe County, a Met-Ed outage map showed.
