ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A new boutique hotel — offering a “spirited and fun” experience — is almost ready to welcome guests in downtown Allentown.
Moxy Hotels, Marriott International’s experiential hotel brand, on Thursday announced that the Moxy Allentown Downtown – the brand’s first hotel in Pennsylvania – will open Jan. 15 at 949 W. Hamilton St.
The 133-bedroom Moxy Allentown Downtown will be operated by Gulph Creek Hotels, a leading hotel management and development company in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The $27 million, five-story boutique hotel features several public gathering spaces on the ground floor, including the brand’s signature Bar Moxy featuring nightly DJs and performers, a lounge, a library, a courtyard with yard games, and a yet-to-be-named restaurant.
