FULTON, Ill. — Three City of Fulton employees, including the mayor and police chief, will be leaving their post in the new year. The third employee resigning is the city’s business manager.
All three resignations were discussed during a city council meeting on Tuesday. According to the agenda, Mayor Wendy Ottens filed a letter of resignation back in November, with her last day being Dec. 30.
In her letter, Ottens cites struggles she had in the role as the reason for her resignation, but the nature of these is not fully disclosed…
