Making clear it’s still not too late to join in on the fun, Burbank manager Ed Peduto and his staff recently took to social media to invite the skating public to the Symonds Way facility’s annual Rockin’ New Year’s Eve bash that starts tonight at 6 p.m.
In a tradition started by late Reading philanthropist Nelson Burbank, who founded the indoor skating rink, Peduto and his staff will be commemorating the 30th anniversary of the local New Year’s celebration by passing out free party hats and noisemakers, doling out of various door prizes, and extending to adults and children alike an opportunity to spend some of 2024’s final hours while skating…
