Parents Defending Education (PDE) has filed a formal request for an investigation into Boston Public Schools (BPS) by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), alleging employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
PDE, an organization with members who are parents of school children across the nation, argues that BPS is engaging in discriminatory practices by implementing affinity groups that separate employees based on race.
