Boston police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left debris strewn across the train tracks near Boston University Sunday night.
Two cars collided at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Essex Street shortly before 7:30 p.m., according to Boston police.
Police could be seen directing traffic around the wreck shortly after 8:00 p.m. Airbags were deployed in both cars and debris from the crash was scattered across the train tracks. A traffic light could also be seen lying across one of the crashed vehicles.
Boston police say that two people involved in the crash were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries…
