Suspect who allegedly shot, killed woman outside Chelsea hotel in custody

The man who allegedly shot a woman to death while walking outside a Chelsea hotel Friday morning is her estranged husband, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said Friday evening.

Luckenson King Pablo was arrested on 2nd Street in Everett hours after allegedly shooting his estranged wife, Melissa Janvier Pablo, 32, while the two walked in the crosswalk outside the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Chelsea.

Luckenson King Pablo was taken into custody just after 12:30 p.m., hours after several witnesses reported seeing the man shoot Melissa Janvier Pablo on the busy stretch of the roadway. A Boston 25 News camera captured him being escorted out of a building and being led into a police vehicle.
