Rain and cold bring showers to western communities tonight

Cloudy weather in western Montana this afternoon precedes incoming showers to west-central and southwestern Montana tonight. This evening, Missoula is forecasted a 70% chance of showers, while areas like Helena are forecasted a 40% chance. Bozeman is expected to get the rain later tonight, between 10 pm and 12 am. The mountains of western Montana have potential to receive light snow as this band of precipitation moves southeast and exists Montana. Valley areas may see snow flakes, but accumulation is very unlikely.
