St. V receives 13th consecutive patient safety Leapfrog ‘A’ grade

Intermountain Health St. Vincent Regional Hospital has received an “A” hospital safety grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit patient safety advocate. The grade recognizes the hospital’s efforts to protect patients and provide safe high-quality care for the community. Leapfrog grades hospitals across the country based on over 30 performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.

This is the 13th consecutive time St. Vincent has received the top rating and is the only hospital in Montana with 13 “A”s in a row.

“We are proud of our commitment to provide the safest, highest quality care to our patients. This national recognition for more than six years is a demonstration of the consistent, quality care that our caregivers provide,” said Lee Boyles, president of St. Vincent Regional Hospital and Montana/Wyoming Market of Intermountain Health. “In sharing this achievement, I want to say thank you to our caregivers for their dedication to our patients and their focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care.”
