Gia Parker and Thea Yarkoni are no strangers to competitive cheering, performing in different competitions all throughout the region. But one of their upcoming competitions is a little different than the others.
“I’ve actually seen like a year ago, people on the Macy’s Day Parade and I’ve always wanted to be on it, but I never thought I could actually be able to be on the float,” Yarkoni said.
Parker has been doing gymnastics since she was four and has cheered at Freedom All Star Cheer and Tumble in Endicott for three years. Yarkoni started cheering in seventh grade for vestal cheer before going to World Cup in Scranton…
