A Binghamton man is facing assault charges following an incident in the city last weekend.
Binghamton Police responded to Mendelssohn Street at around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4 for a report of a male with a knife.
Officers located a man sitting in a parked vehicle who had sustained several stab wounds to his chest and abdomen. The 24-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He remains in critical condition…
