A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Wednesday at 8:32 a.m. for heavy snow until 9:30 a.m. for Broome County.
“At 8:31 a.m., a band of heavy snow was along a line extending from near Newark Valley to near Lanesboro and moving southeast at 20 MPH,” according to the weather service.
Locations impacted by the alert include Binghamton, Johnson City, Endicott, Kirkwood, Conklin, Maine, Susquehanna, Susquehanna Depot, Port Dickinson and Windsor. This includes the following highway exits: new York Interstate 81 between 1 and 6. Interstate 86/Route 17 between 69 and 81. Interstate 88 between 1 and 3…
