Close games have been a coin flip for the University of Mary men’s basketball teams this year.
On Saturday afternoon at the MAC, the coin landed in Bemidji State’s favor, as a game-winning 3-point attempt by Jeremiah Jones rimmed out at the buzzer to give the Beavers the win, 72-70.
“I thought we, for the most part, defended well enough to win, and offensively I thought we played well in spurts,” Marauders head coach Jack Nelson said. “We competed, we played hard enough, we just were one play short of getting on the right side of this one.”…
