BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – Travis Wong built himself into an accomplished executive chef at Toasted Frog in Bismarck after stints as a sous chef in some of Colorado and Minnesota’s best restaurants. He’s been out of the industry for 10 years, focused on his family and passing down his culinary knowledge.
After 14 years in the industry, Wong knew raising a family and managing a kitchen would be difficult, so he chose a new path and started Basil, a culinary community focused on bringing people together through food.
