Restaurant Dive is reporting that they have received word directly from the brand headquarters that Chicken Salad Chick just signed franchise deals with five new markets and that includes both Missouri and Illinois. They say that “multi-unit developments” are coming to Kansas City, Missouri and Naperville and Lake County, Illinois also have Chicken Salad Chick restaurants coming.
This is big news for Chicken Salad Chick which the story says grew by 13% last year alone and the expansion into the Midwest as another very popular fast casual food option benefits the Missouri and Illinois destinations, too…
