Man attempts to drive vehicle off tow truck to avoid arrest

A Dayton man attempted to drive his vehicle off of a tow truck to avoid being arrested in Indiana.

On Friday, Jan. 10, Indiana State Police Trooper Carlson responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-65 Southbound, according to a release.

During the crash investigation, it was determined the driver was lying about his identity and was actually wanted in Ohio on a probation violation for past violent crimes.

While officers tried to detain him, the man pulled away and ran across all lanes of I-65 and almost caused several accidents during the inclement weather…
