HILTON HEAD, S.C. (WTOC) – Tuesday, Beaufort County announced that Hilton Head Island Airport has been awarded $300,000 via a competitive grant through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

This funding is intended to modernize critical components of airport owned air traffic control towers.
