Round 2 Concluded in Texas

SAN ANTONIO – A pair of Vanderbilt men’s golfers sit inside the top 10 after two rounds of play at the Valero Texas Collegiate, as sophomore Rowan Sullivan is tied for sixth while junior John Broderick is in a tie for ninth.

Sullivan collected seven birdies in Round 2 to post the lowest 18-hole score of his career at 4-under 68. The Charleston, South Carolina, native moved up 28 spots on the player leaderboard on Sunday, as he currently is tied for sixth. Sullivan goes into Monday with a total score of 5-under 139 and leads the field with 13 birdies.

Broderick remained tied for ninth after he carded even par in Round 2. The junior sits at 3-under 141 and leads the tournament in par-3 scoring at 3-under. With his performance on Sunday, Broderick remains the only Commodore to card par-or-better in each round this season…
