At statehouse Maryland braces for deep program cuts, maybe new fees

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and the General Assembly have big decisions to make that could impact Marylanders for years to come. The $3 billion budget hole has the Old Line State, drawing up hard lines, and debating over whether deep cuts or tax increases will best fix the deficit.
