BALTIMORE (WBFF) — This year’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade set for Monday has been canceled, according to a social media post by The Baltimore Office of Promotions & The Arts (BOPA).
BOPA made this announcement in partnership with the Mayor’s office ahead of the parade originally set for Jan. 20th.
We are truly disappointed to cancel this much beloved event. However, we agree with the mayor’s office that public safety must be our top priority in this moment and the inclement weather and frigid temperatures have dictated this very necessary decision.
