Adairville School participates in TVA energy saving program

ADAIRVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) – Adairville School has been awarded a grant from the Tennessee Valley Authority as part of an initiative to reduce energy costs and enhance learning environments. The school was selected to participate in the TVA’s School Uplift program, designed to promote energy efficiency in schools across the region.

“The TVA School Uplift Program is a program designed to help us save energy, cut our costs and just help our students to learn more about how to be good stewards and save energy in the future,” said Cindy Beason, the vice principal at Adairville School.

The School Uplift program helps schools save energy, lower operational costs and create more comfortable learning spaces. It also involves students and staff in the energy-saving process, encouraging them to adopt habits that contribute to long-term sustainability…
