Northwood has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 10-0 to the Edison Chargers on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 498th, while the Chargers are ranked 242nd).
Northwood’s loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Edison, they are on a roll lately: they’ve won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwood is on the road again on Monday to play Ottawa Hills at 7:00 p.m. Ottawa Hills will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Northwood surely won’t give up without a fight.
