Saturday will mark the 10th year of the Help Center’s “Run For Your Life” 5k fundraiser, which raises money for the organization’s 24/7 suicide prevention services.
The Halloween event, which includes a 1k race with optional obstacles for kids and costume contents for dogs and humans alike, is expected to bring about 1,200 people to the Montana State University Bobcat Stadium parking lot.
“A lot of people come to honor someone they lost to suicide,” said Mandy St. Aubyn, the communications coordinator for the Help Center. “Or just come to support their own mental health or friends or family … We call it a fun event with a deep purpose.”…
