Boston Red Sox All-Star outfielder Jarren Duran has been named as a finalist for the Hank Aaron award. The award is given to the best offensive player in the American and National Leagues, and this year, Duran was definitely one of them.
Duran had a breakout season this year, playing in 160 games, with 735 plate appearances. In those appearances, he slashed .285/.342/.492/.834.
He hit 21 homers over the season, and led the majors in doubles and triples with 48 doubles and 14 triples. He had 75 RBI, and led his team with 34 stolen bases…
