JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Summer’s request for an extension has been granted as temperatures continue to rise to the upper 80s today and tomorrow. Mornings are near the 60-degree mark and will remain that way through next week.
Thanks to a quick-moving front over the weekend, highs next week will be closer to the mid-80s. That front will leave some of you in the low 80s Sunday afternoon and could bring a few showers as well. Better rain chances are still expected at the end of next week with a stronger front.
