Putting the state’s agriculture at the forefront of energy innovation is the goal of a future center at the University of Missouri. University President Mun Choi announced that it will open the Center for Rural Energy Security.
He said the location will focus on rural energy, innovation, and policy.
“Rural energy policies have such a big impact on the producers in the state, and we want to make sure that the producers are at the table helping us define the problems and eventually the solutions. So, this is a first of its kind in the United States, and we’re so happy that we’re starting it in Missouri,” Choi told Brownfield Ag News…
