At its January 8 meeting, the Contra Costa Water District will discuss its 2025-2026 water rates fees and chargers.
The board will conduct a conduct a public hearing to provide information and receive comments and protests on proposed water rates and charges adjustments for 2025 and 2026.
According to the water district, the proposed rate adjustments for an average single-family residential customer using 230 gallons per day amounts to an increase of approximately 20 cents per day. Or, $73 annual increase. By 2026, it would increase by 21 cents per day, or $76.65 annually…
