For all of those thrill-seeking, spooky-season lovers, there is no sweeter treat on Long Beach Island than events sponsored by Ship Bottom and Surf City first responders on consecutive nights, making the weekend before Halloween more flavorful.
Halloween events kick off on Friday, Oct. 25 at the Ship Bottom boat ramp, located just off the Causeway on Shore Avenue. Sponsored by the Ship Bottom Police Department, the fourth annual event is slated to take place between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.
