The trailer was originally stolen from a property in Katonah during the early morning hours of Wednesday, Oct. 16, prompting an investigation, the Bedford Police Department said on Friday, Oct. 25.
Thanks to a video from community members and license plate reader technology, police were able to identify a suspect vehicle and soon came up with more leads that led them to the Sullivan County town of Fallsburg on Tuesday, Oct. 22, almost two hours away from Katonah.
Once there, Bedford detectives joined forces with the Fallsburg Police Department and a day later, on Wednesday, Oct. 23, executed a search warrant on the property with “better than expected results,” the department said…
