A man will spend the rest of his life in prison for his role in a shooting that took place in Lakewood last year.
On Nov. 18, a Jefferson County jury convicted Patrick Plasencio on the following charges:
- First-degree murder – after deliberation
- Attempted murder – after deliberation
- Prohibited use of a weapon
- Prohibited use of a weapon – drunk with a gun
Shortly before 3 a.m. on April 30, 2023, agents from the Lakewood Police Department responded to a shooting at a home in the 1200 block of South Marshall Street. When they arrived, they found Amanda Bobian’s body on the front porch.
